Lying under a Rock - For a Friend.

Lying under a rock

Hiding in that dark place, where it was thought
light could not penetrate

Faint glow of light, faint and faltering,
delicate as a spiders string
Touching, embracing, growing stronger, warmer intense
but gentle and soft whisping touches

It breathes life, passion, warmth, zest, love respect,
honour, trust glowing immensley finding friendship
Inside its frail light, glows a hot sun teetering on
super nova, warmth more than is known

Light receeds, the dark seems silently lit,
light is distant,
extending out a gentle warm glow,
showing the path from the darkness

The light, the path, showing and guiding,
assisting and provoking,warming
and close, showing direction,gently supporting
but not to bright and over bearing.

The rock grows dark again, intimidating or the path
seeing sense now, clearer, the light has shone.
