Weekend

So spent the weekend in the north east, went to look at barns, land and investments as need to do something with capital, burning away....


Also went out for a caribbean meal, it was top, salt fish and aka or something, lovely, with crab cakes to start as well....and a lovely bottle of wine of course all shared with the girl, in the most stunning red dress I have seen...

So a lovely weekend, and then out on sunday night with Shaun in Worsley....

So Worsley, beautifulwomen and a lovely place, but not enough mirrors for them to look at themselves and check themselves out oh and check the cars out....as well..my god...

Last Week

So in the good old south for most of last week and a party at work, cat fight there and a drive home from the south from hell, well took ages, but had a very interesting call on the way back.... !!!

Lying under a rock

Hiding in that dark place, where it was thought
light could not penetrate

Faint glow of light, faint and faltering,
delicate as a spiders string

The light, the path, showing and guiding,

The rock grows dark again, intimidating or the path
seeing sense now, clearer, the light has shone.

The new slouch....well pleased...

Its arrived, and its well slouchy and comfy indeed.....well dozed off on it last night, with the tv on, and feet on the pouffe..........

As you can see the Terror likes it as well, just ordered a rug for the tv room, fast shaggy one, to lay down on the floor, and cover up most of the space.......

So yeh chuffed indeed....


Bathroom and driveway next........

Finished - da da...sort of noise

The finished piece, well pleased...now getting quote for the bathroom....

Shower Room - Day 3

So finish tomorrow, grout and lay the floor install the shower stuff.... and got some cool black towels and white mat to compliment cool sleak lines......well chuffed....

Bathroom next, looking at doing the same, but on one wall, massive mirror or mirrors opposite the bath...make more light.

Shower room project - Day 2.....Work being done...

Shower room stripped, new ceiling in and fitted, floor ready to go down, shower basin in.....

So going good, tomorrow, floor tiles and wall tiles up and on, door fitted and all fittings....so hopefully all done by Wed night, and can use on Thursday again.....going to be looking smooth when its done....

So next project Driveway and project bathroom....sheer madness ....

Pursuit of happiness

So watched this film last night, beautiful film that shows a dads love for his son and how he battles to build them a better life together. A moving and touching film, but made me think and realise that is what we are all seeking, The pursuit of happiness....

Its about the elements in life that make you happy, and you have to look inside yourself to truly see what these are and pursue them..It isnt about material things, work or going out getting drunk its different things for us all, but we all have things that make us happy and smile, to realise them and find them.....that is the pursuit of happiness..

I have realised this now.....

Very Very Very Bad Hang Over

So the day after, the night before........

Started at Pauls, going downhill when drinking Jack Daniels shots, neat.......and Moscow Mules...


Hit the Village, met up with Michaella, Dawn and her daughter and one of the Butlers was out, Gary, so introduced M .... drinking Corona and things getting blurry and getting more tearful by the hour, decided to leave at 1.00 at which point Michaella and Dawn were getting chatted up by a munchkin in pvc outfit, Dave was hitting on anything that moved and Paul had gone off with a group of girls....

I left and then wallowed in self pity and wine.......


My head so so hurts........days like this dont want to be single, want a shoulder to be there, arms to hold me someone to share the good and the bad times with

The Last Night - All over

Some pics from the last night, woody goes home tomorrow......kids all tired and shattered....but shared some war stories, my god forgot most of my youth....hilarious laughter all round, fab night out.....

But having left her husband to come back to England to be with her childhood sweetheart, she knows what she wants.....

So its 1.30 watching Kill Bill, and decided that Uma Therman is the woman for me, absolutely stunning, normal, just awesome.......

My new woman counsellor is Susan V, discussed about women, thinking and how they work......and what Im looking for or not....discussed the girl.....

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, Men are apes, women are from love........some clear lines and also women are looking for protection, to feel needed.

So got work in 7 hours and all sat round in the cinema room, talking shite..........

Why is it Ex Partners can still cause so much disruption and spoil things.....One thing I hate is letting people down and because of elements out of my control.

School night antics

The boys decided to have a reunion for the woodster returned back to Oz, oh dear.....lots of drinking, old old stories about us all, none of which I can reveal ever......

Event of the night, two women absolutely slaughtered, full on snogging........not erotic though as rough my god..........

New Year

The gang.....Next friday going to be one of the saddest days for a long time....but tonight been lovely...spoke to loads at 12.00 , wished a merry and happy new year and lots of drunken gossip.....and hope I wasnt to bad ;-)
